Instinct Pet Food Welcomes Beau Mainous as CEO

Instinct Pet Food is thrilled to announce Beau Mainous as new Chief Executive Officer. Beau assumes his role as CEO in January 2025, building on the strong leadership from Gordon Dumesich. 

Beau’s diverse career spans key leadership roles across the Health and Wellness sectors, where he has worked with iconic brands such as Kashi and Chobani. In addition, his global experience managing the skincare portfolio at GSK provides a unique science-based backdrop to solving consumer problems through novel technologies. Specific to Pet, Beau served as the CEO of “I and love and you,” leading one of the fastest-growing, highly emotive, omni-channel brands in the pet nutrition space. 

Reflecting on his new role, Beau shared, “I am honored and inspired to have the opportunity to join the Instinct team. The company is extremely well positioned to build on our legacy of pioneering nutrition through raw and innovative solutions.
